Overview

OPAL is a 18.9m (62ft) sailing yacht built by Lagoon in 2017. She welcomes 10 guests in 6 cabins with a crew of 3, and charters in East Mediterranean. Weekly charter rates start from $22,400 plus expenses.

New Lagoon 620 is designed to meet the needs of today’s cruising yachtsman: strength, comfort, performance and exceptional living space. Ideal for clients who want to experience the art of living aboard in an innovative way.

OPAL can accommodate up to 10 guests in 5 double cabins – all en-suite, plus saloon with separate cabins for three professional crew members (captain & stewardess and professional chef).

Complete interior layout is elegantly incorporating wood finish, upholstery, inner liners, and more. A functional fly bridge can also accommodate guests thanks to separate crew and reception areas. Saloon and cockpit are beautifully integrated and include “wet bar”, areas for lazing around and the option on taking delicious meals inside or out without having to make any adjustments.

Broker's view

Who OPAL suits

A Lagoon 620 catamaran, OPAL trades the pace of a motor yacht for space, stability and a much lower weekly rate. Her 10 meter beam on an 18.9 meter length gives a wide saloon and cockpit on one level, plus a flybridge, and her central agent lists five double en suite guest cabins for ten guests. Three crew, a captain, a stewardess and a chef, run the yacht from separate quarters.

She draws only 1.55 meters, so she can anchor in the shallow turquoise bays that make Croatia popular, and as a catamaran she sails flat. Under engine she cruises at 9 knots. Bicycles, a paddleboard, water skis for adults and children, floating mats and light fishing gear are carried. She was built in 2017 and is offered in Croatia for summer 2027 from $27,300 to $36,900 per week.

  • Value focused groups
  • Croatian island cruising
  • Families with children
  • First time charterers
  • As a catamaran she stays level under sail, which suits guests who are wary of a monohull's heel.
  • Her 1.55 meter draft lets her anchor very close to beaches and in shallow coves.
  • Summer 2027 rates in Croatia run from $27,300 in low season to $36,900 in high season.

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost to charter OPAL?
OPAL charters from $22,400 - $36,600 per week. The base rate covers the yacht and crew. Fuel, food, drinks and berths are extra, usually budgeted as an advance provisioning allowance of 25% to 35%, and local taxes may apply depending on the cruising area.
How many guests can OPAL accommodate?
OPAL sleeps 10 guests in 6 cabins and carries a crew of 3.
Where can I charter OPAL?
OPAL is available in East Mediterranean. Availability changes by season, so ask a Navélia broker for current dates.
How do I book OPAL?
Send an enquiry, message us on WhatsApp or book a 20 minute call. A Navélia broker confirms availability with the yacht's central agent, sends a contract, and a 50% deposit secures your dates.
Is OPAL suitable for children?
Yes, she suits families well. A catamaran sails level, the shallow draft allows anchoring near beaches, and the toys include child size water skis, floating mats and a paddleboard. Bicycles are carried for exploring ashore.
What crew does OPAL have?
OPAL sails with three professional crew: a captain, a stewardess and a chef. They have their own cabins separate from the guest accommodation, so all five guest doubles remain available to the charter party.
Does OPAL heel like other sailing yachts?
No. OPAL is a Lagoon 620 catamaran with a 10 meter beam, so she stays close to level under sail and at anchor. Guests who are prone to seasickness or uneasy on a leaning deck usually find a catamaran more comfortable.
